Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £40,000

As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault resolution of security systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant with industry standards. Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service visits on security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, minimising system downtime for clients.
* Complete accurate and detailed service reports following each visit, in line with company and industry requirements.
* Liaise with customers on site to communicate findings, manage expectations, and maintain a professional standard of service.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant British Standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in the service and maintenance of security systems.
* Proven working knowledge of intruder alarm systems, with experience of access control and/or CCTV also advantageous.
* Familiarity with leading industry brands such as Texecom, Honeywell, Paxton, or similar.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* NSI or SSAIB installer qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
