Job Title: Security Project Engineer
Location: London
Salary: From £50,000 To £55,000 per annum
Are you a Security Project Engineer based in London with experience in access control and integrated systems? Looking to take ownership of high-profile commercial projects from design through to handover? As a Security Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end security system projects across commercial environments, working with advanced systems including enterprise-level access control and integrated CCTV solutions. You will be working for a well-established provider specialising in delivering cutting-edge security solutions across corporate and commercial sites.
Responsibilities:
● Manage multiple security system projects across commercial environments
● Develop project plans, timelines, and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors
● Interpret system designs, specifications, and technical drawings
● Support delivery of access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
● Lead commissioning of systems, including configuration, testing, and validation
● Provide technical troubleshooting during installation and commissioning
● Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and manufacturers throughout the project lifecycle
● Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
● Produce commissioning documentation, reports, and system handovers
● Deliver client training and support post-installation activities
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of [Years of Experience] in a Security Project Engineer or similar role
● Strong experience with access control and integrated security systems
● Experience working with C•CURE and/or Genetec Security Center
● Solid understanding of CCTV systems and IP networking fundamentals
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
● Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
● Relevant technical qualification (Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar)
● CSCS/ECS card (preferred)
● Desirable: C•CURE certification, Genetec certification, PRINCE2 or PMP
