Job Title: Security Installation Engineer

Are you a Security Installation Engineer based in Leeds looking for a contract opportunity? As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems across commercial and residential sites, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with client specifications. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install access control systems, including readers, controllers, and associated hardware, in line with project drawings and specifications.
* Install and configure door entry systems, including audio/video intercom units and electric door furniture.
* Install CCTV systems, including cameras, DVR/NVR equipment, and cabling infrastructure.
* Carry out first-fix and second-fix installation works across active commercial and residential sites.
* Test and commission installed systems to confirm correct operation prior to handover.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to site health and safety requirements at all times.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Security Installation Engineer, with hands-on competency across access control, door entry, and CCTV systems.
* Experience working with leading security manufacturers and platforms across a variety of site types.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings and cable schedules.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS Card (required).
* DBS Check (required).
