Job Title: Security Design Engineer
Location: Remote
Salary: From £55,000 To £60,000 per annum
Are you a Security Design Engineer looking for a fully remote position? As a Security Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical designs and drawings across CCTV and access control systems. You will be working for a national provider specialising in Fire and Security solutions, delivering installation, service, and maintenance across the energy and utilities sector.
Responsibilities:
● Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD for security and M&E systems
● Design CCTV and access control systems to meet client specifications
● Create and modify electrical schematics using AutoCAD
● Develop layouts and system designs for production and installation
● Provide calculations, drawings, and supporting technical documentation
● Conduct site surveys where required
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 5 in a similar Design Engineer role
● Experience designing CCTV and access control systems
● Proficiency in AutoCAD
● Experience with SolidWorks or Revit (desirable)
● Previous experience working as a Design Engineer
