Job Title: Security Commissioning Engineer
Location: London / Home Counties
Salary: £47k + D2D Travel – £65k OTE
Are you a Security Commissioning Engineer based in London or the Home Counties looking for your next opportunity? As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, configuration, and handover of integrated security systems across a range of commercial, corporate, and critical infrastructure sites. Responsibilities:
* Commission and configure access control and video management systems including CCure, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon platforms.
* Carry out site surveys and pre-commissioning checks to ensure systems are installed and ready for configuration.
* Liaise with installation teams, project managers, and end clients to coordinate commissioning programmes and resolve technical issues on site.
* Conduct system testing, fault-finding, and snagging to ensure all equipment meets specification prior to handover.
* Prepare and submit commissioning documentation, as-built records, and handover packs in line with project requirements.
* Provide on-site client training and support during the handover process to ensure end users are confident operating their systems.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the commissioning of electronic security systems.
* Hands-on experience with two or more of the following platforms: CCure, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon.
* Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires regular travel across London and the Home Counties.
* SIA Door Supervisor or CCTV Operator licence (desirable).
* ECS Gold Card or equivalent industry certification (desirable).
