Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in fire projects looking for your next opportunity in Dublin? As an Operations Manager – Fire Projects, you will oversee the delivery of fire projects, manage engineering teams, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards. You will be working for a leading global security and facilities services provider specialising in integrated fire and security solutions.
Responsibilities:
● Oversee all aspects of the Fire Projects division and manage project delivery
● Lead and coordinate the project engineering team, including scheduling and performance management
● Ensure all projects are delivered in line with industry standards and within budgeted margins
● Manage subcontractors, approvals, and purchase orders
● Drive operational efficiencies to achieve divisional targets and KPIs
● Oversee commercial performance including applications, variations, and invoicing coordination
● Liaise with warehouse teams regarding equipment and logistics
● Prepare monthly forecasts and reports for senior management
● Manage the projects fleet and approve jobs in line with company procedures
● Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, internal teams, and customers
● Support sales activity through lead generation and customer engagement
● Prepare quotations and engage with customers, consultants, and contractors
● Maintain knowledge of fire industry standards and attend relevant product training
● Identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives
Experience and Certifications required:
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Operations Manager or Project Management role
● Strong knowledge of fire industry standards
● Proven experience delivering fire projects successfully
● Excellent communication and organisational skills
● Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
