General Manager - Fire & Security Location: UK Wide Salary: £100,000 + Car / Allowance + Bonus
Technical Resources is proud to be partnering with a leading, privately backed group within the fire and life safety sector to recruit a General Manager to oversee multiple specialist business units across the UK.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to take full operational and commercial responsibility for three specialist divisions within a growing group, focused on fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and suppression solutions.
The role will see you working closely with three Managing Directors, providing strategic direction, driving performance, and ensuring consistent growth across all business units.
Key responsibilities:
Full ownership of a £25m P&L, with a clear mandate to deliver a minimum of 10% annual growth
Driving sales performance, cross-selling opportunities, and overall revenue growth
Enhancing customer service standards across all divisions
Building strong relationships with divisional leadership and aligning business objectives
Attending and presenting at the board level to both the COO and the CEO
Contributing to wider strategic and commercial initiatives across the group
Visiting three companies within the group from the North West, Midlands, and South East.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior leadership role with responsibility for a significant P&L
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth and performance
Background within Fire & Security or a closely related sector is highly desirable
Experience managing multi-site or multi-division operations
Confident operating at the board level and influencing senior stakeholders
