Job Title: Gates & Barriers Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate: £220 to £240 day
Are you a Gates & Barriers Engineer based in Southampton looking for your next contract role? Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced engineer to carry out service and maintenance works on automated gates and barrier systems. This is a long-term rolling contract with ongoing work available.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Service and maintenance of automated gates and barrier systems
● Fault finding and reactive repair works
● Working across commercial and residential sites in Southampton
● Ensuring systems are safe, compliant and fully operational
Experience required:
● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience working on gates, barriers and access control systems
● Strong fault-finding and electrical/mechanical maintenance skills
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● ECS/CSCS Card preferred
● Full UK Driving Licence
● Hand tools and PPE
