We are seeking an experienced Fire Commissioning Engineer to start ASAP on a hotel refurbishment project in Marylebone. The role is to commission a closed-protocol Kidde EST3 system, working independently on site for the full two-week duration.

You will be responsible for supplying and commissioning the project while the client carries out the installation. The work is all days and will involve fault finding, adding devices, and completing cause-and-effect works on the panel.

Key Duties
- Commission and test the EST3 panel independently.
- Carry out fault finding and rectification.
- Add and configure devices as required.
- Complete cause and effect testing and verification.
- Work closely with the client’s installation team during a hotel refurbishment.
Required Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with EST3 systems.
- Strong knowledge of closed-protocol fire alarm systems, specifically Kidde/EST3.
- Proven commissioning background on similar fire alarm projects.
- Confident working alone and taking ownership of the panel commissioning.
Certifications and Kit
- ECS card required for commissioning fire detection and alarm systems.
- Hand tools required.
- Laptop required.
- EST3 software is a bonus, though dongle and software can be provided if needed.
- Experience with cause and effect testing is essential.
