Job Title: Fire & Security Senior Project Manager
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Car
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Senior Project Manager based in London & Home Counties looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire & Security Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of fire and security projects from handover through to final completion, working across a range of commercial and blue-chip client sites throughout London and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities:
* Manage the full lifecycle of fire and security projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery in line with technical and compliance standards.
* Run multiple concurrent projects, coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet programme deadlines and quality expectations.
* Take ownership of project financials, including budget control, cost monitoring, margin protection, and variation management.
* Conduct regular site visits to provide technical guidance to engineers and ensure systems are installed and tested to British Standards and manufacturer requirements.
* Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project, chairing kick-off and progress meetings and managing expectations effectively.
* Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete, including method statements, risk assessments, commissioning records, and O&M manuals.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the UK fire and security industry, with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects from start to finish.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and associated network infrastructure; candidates with pure fire experience will also be considered.
* Demonstrable experience managing project P&L, budgets, and subcontractors in a commercially focused environment.
* Full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel regularly across London and the Home Counties.
* SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification (desirable).
* FIA qualifications or membership (desirable).
