Job Title: Fire & Security Project Manager
Location: London/South-East
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package (DOE)
Are you a Fire & Security Project Manager based in London/South-East looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of fire and security projects across a range of commercial, residential, and critical infrastructure sites, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:
* Manage the full project lifecycle from inception through to commissioning and handover, ensuring all milestones are met.
* Coordinate and oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain programme and quality standards.
* Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets, and risk registers throughout the project lifecycle.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and providing regular project updates.
* Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant British Standards, industry regulations, and company health and safety policies.
* Produce accurate project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and handover packs.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing fire and security projects in a similar project management role.
* Proven experience delivering fire detection, intruder alarm, access control, and/or CCTV systems.
* Strong understanding of BS 5839, BS EN 50131, and other relevant industry standards.
* Full UK driving licence, as travel across London and the South-East will be required.
* PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification (desirable).
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems or equivalent industry certification (desirable).
