Fire & Security Project Manager 
Location: North Wales / Liverpool
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + package


The Opportunity
Technical Resources have partnered with a leading fire protection and electrical contracting expert
to recruit two Fire & Security Project Manager  for security-focused projects across North Wales, Liverpool and wider UK locations.

These are senior delivery roles involving the management of multiple projects, coordination of other Project Managers and regular liaison with clients, subcontractors and internal teams. Travel and overnight stays will be required when project demands dictate.

Our client operates across the fire protection, electrical contracting and security sectors. Security experience is essential, while fire protection experience would be advantageous but is not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple security projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Coordinate and support other Project Managers.
  • Allocate work and monitor project progress.
  • Obtain regular updates and address issues, risks or delays.
  • Manage programmes, budgets, resources, quality and health and safety.
  • Report project performance and commercial matters to the Programme Manager.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Review project documentation, programmes, RAMS and completion records.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.
  • Attend sites across North Wales, Liverpool and other UK locations as required.

Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the security sector.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating project teams.
  • Strong project planning, delivery, reporting and commercial-control skills.
  • Experience assigning work and monitoring other Project Managers.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away when required.
Experience with access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, perimeter security or integrated security systems would be beneficial. Fire alarm, fire protection or electrical contracting experience is also welcomed.
