Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Central London looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites in the capital. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Install CCTV systems including cameras, DVR/NVR units, and associated cabling.
* Install access control systems including door entry, card readers, and control panels.
* Install intruder alarm systems, ensuring correct placement of detectors, panels, and peripheral devices.
* Work to project drawings and specifications, ensuring installations are completed to a high standard.
* Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate works and meet programme deadlines.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in the installation of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
* Familiarity with a range of fire and security systems from leading manufacturers.
* Experience working on commercial sites in a fast-paced environment.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* FIA Fire Detection and Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
