Job Title: Fire and Security Designer
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £40,000 To £50,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Designer position working in the East Midlands? As a Fire and Security Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering compliant, integrated fire and security systems across commercial and public-sector projects. You will be working for a leading provider specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems.
Responsibilities:
● Prepare designs and technical quotations for fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
● Work to deadlines, budgets, and quotas, managing workload and prioritising deliverables effectively
● Undertake site surveys and attend design meetings to support project progression
● Communicate with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience of designing integrated fire and security systems
● Strong knowledge of fire alarm and CCTV standards
● Level 3 qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
● Recognised Fire Alarm qualification
