Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Length: Monthly rolling contract
Rate: £240 per day
Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer based in Cardiff looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repair works on fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout South Wales. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems across a varied site portfolio.
* Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarm systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Service and maintain high-end multi-panel fire alarm systems, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards.
* Complete accurate service and maintenance records, including site logbooks and engineer reports.
* Liaise with site contacts and clients to ensure works are completed with minimal disruption.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with BS 5839 and current industry regulations.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, with a strong background in service, maintenance, and fault-finding.
* Hands-on experience with high-end multi-panel systems, including Gent and Siemens.
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites with minimal supervision.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Certificate in Fire Alarm Systems (desirable).
* CSCS Card (desirable).
