As an Embedded Security Engineer / Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the configuration, integration, and ongoing support of electronic security systems across a range of commercial, corporate, and high-security client environments. Responsibilities:
* Configure and deploy access control and video management systems to client specifications.
* Carry out system integration work, ensuring seamless operation across security platforms.
* Provide technical applications support and troubleshooting for installed systems.
* Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure systems are delivered on time and to the required standard.
* Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, including system configurations and site records.
* Support commissioning activities and handover of completed security installations.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a similar security engineering or applications role within the electronic security sector.
* Hands-on experience with C-Cure access control systems is essential.
* Hands-on experience with Genetec video management and access control platforms is essential.
* Strong understanding of IP networking as it applies to security systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* SSAIB or NSI accreditation awareness (desirable).
* ECS Gold Card (desirable).
