Job Title: Access Control Installation Engineer
Location: Tooting
Length: 2 weeks (starting week commencing 24th August)
Rate: £200 per day
Are you an Access Control Installation Engineer based in Tooting looking for your next contract opportunity? As an Access Control Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of access control systems across commercial and residential sites, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines and client specifications. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install Paxton access control systems across assigned sites in line with project specifications.
* Cable, terminate and commission access control equipment including door controllers, readers and entry devices.
* Carry out pre-installation surveys and ensure all materials and equipment are on site ahead of works.
* Work closely with site managers and other trades to coordinate access control installation activities.
* Complete all relevant documentation and handover records upon completion of works.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 2 years' experience installing access control systems in a commercial environment.
* Proven hands-on experience with Paxton access control systems, including Net2 and Paxton10.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS/CSCS card (required).
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent access control qualification (desirable).
