Smart building systems integrator hires 20 London-based engineers for luxury hotel contract

Utilising Technical Resources’ expansive talent network, the company was able to scale operations to meet tight project timelines.

A Master Systems Integrator had just secured a high-value contract for a new hotel build. Throughout the company’s almost three-decade-long history, it had become a global leader in Smart Building Technology for luxury residential and commercial spaces.

The contract was a significant win, but the volume of work was too much for the company’s internal team to manage. To provide additional manpower and expertise, they sought the help of Technical Resources.

Meeting demand for high-quality talent

The company was tasked with the installation of AV equipment in luxury apartment suites. It also involved a considerable amount of first fix work, such as cable running and containment installation.

They needed skilled professionals who could deliver to the high standards necessary for the project. Potential candidates also had to be carefully vetted to ensure that were a good fit for the role.

Scale operations quickly with a tailored recruitment solution

With more than 22 years in the industry, Technical Resources has built an expansive network of specialist talent. Leveraging this network, our team presented more than 20 highly qualified, London-based engineers for interviews.

We were also present on-site to assist the company’s Project Management team. Our dedicated recruitment experts helped facilitate the process for the 20+ engineers who arrived at the company’s offices. During each interview, we joined in along with the hiring manager to support in evaluating the candidates.

This allowed the selection process to be completed quickly and efficiently, resulting in a positive experience for everyone involved.

With the delivery of high-quality talent at a swift turnaround period, the company quickly ramped up operations and ensured that the project phase was delivered on schedule.

Overall, the company hired a team of 20 engineers who were retained for up to two years and resulted in significant savings – both in costs and time.
