Job Title: SSSTS Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Kent
Rate: £200 per day
Are you an SSSTS Data Cabling Engineer based in Kent, looking for your next contract role? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both 1st and 2nd fix installations on a structured cabling project, including testing and infrastructure setup.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● 1st and 2nd fix installation of Cat6a cabling
● Termination into GOP boxes and floor boxes
● End-to-end testing of installed cabling
● Installation of comms cabinets where required
Experience required:
● Strong experience in data cabling installations
● Proven experience with Cat6a cabling
● Experience completing both 1st and 2nd fix work
● Experience with testing and termination
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● Valid ECS or CSCS card
● SSSTS certification (essential)
● Own hand tools and termination kit
