Job Title: Smoke Ventilation Technical Manager
Location: West Midlands
Salary: From £70,000 To £75,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Smoke Ventilation Technical Manager position working in the West Midlands? As a Smoke Ventilation Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of smoke control and natural ventilation systems from tender through to handover, ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality standards. You will be working for a leading specialist in smoke control and ventilation systems, known for their technical expertise and strong reputation in the industry.
Responsibilities:
● Leading system design, specification, and compliance across projects
● Acting as the technical expert on BS EN 12101 and UK regulations
● Supporting tenders and project teams with technical input
● Reviewing and signing off drawings and technical documentation
● Resolving complex technical issues across multiple projects
● Mentoring and supporting engineers within the team
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience in smoke control, fire safety, or building services
● Strong knowledge of BS EN 12101 and UK regulations
● Experience with control systems and system integration
● Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
● Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
