Salary: Up to £45,000 + Bonus
Overview
Technical Resources have partnered with a well-established and growing fire & security business based in their head office. They are seeking an experienced Office Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office and support overall business operations.
This is a key replacement hire, with a structured handover period available, offering the opportunity to step into a well-run environment and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all office operations to ensure smooth and efficient daily running
- Directly manage and support a team of office-based staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, accreditations, and health & safety requirements
- Maintain and manage company accreditations, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness
- Take ownership of stock control, storage, and inventory processes
- Review, implement, and maintain operational processes to ensure consistency and best practice
- Act as a central point of coordination between office functions and field-based engineering teams
- Drive organisation, accountability, and continuous improvement across office operations
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in an Office Manager or Operations Manager position
- Background within a field engineering environment
- Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and accreditation management
- Experience managing teams within an office-based environment
- Highly organised with strong process-driven thinking
- Confident overseeing stock control and operational workflows
- Must be comfortable working full-time in the office
