Fire and Security Small Works Engineer (Remedial Engineer)

Job Title: Fire and Security Small Works Engineer (Remedial Engineer)
Location: Tyne and Wear
Salary: From £32000 to £40000 per annum

As a Fire and Security Small Works Engineer, you will be expected to carry out remedial works, upgrades, and minor installations on fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial sites, ensuring systems are delivered to specification and operating correctly. You will be working for an established fire and security company delivering small works projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

● Carry out remedial works and system upgrades on fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
● Complete minor installation and modification works across fire and security systems
● Fault-find and rectify issues identified during service visits
● Complete job documentation accurately and on time

Experience and Certifications required:

● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience with fire and security remedial works and small projects
● Strong understanding of fire alarm and electronic security systems
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● FIA qualifications beneficial
