Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Ipswich
Rate: £230 p/day
Technical Resources is recruiting for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join a well-established Fire & Security company. You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on Fire and Security systems.
- Complete routine testing, inspections, and reactive maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 5839 and BS EN 50131 standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and maintaining Fire and Security systems.
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Advanced, Kentec, Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, and Hikvision.
- FIA or manufacturer-specific training.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
