Job Title: Fire & Security Design Engineer
Location: Gloucester
Rate: £375 p/day
Are you a Fire & Security Design Engineer based in Gloucester looking to work on high-profile data centre projects across the UK and Europe? As a Fire & Security Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical and pre-construction design across enterprise-level fire and security systems. You will be working for a company delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Deliver technical design on fire and security systems for data centre projects
● Carry out pre-construction design for enterprise-level security systems
● Design fire detection and aspirating systems in line with industry standards
● Support project teams with detailed design documentation
Experience required:
● A minimum of proven experience designing fire and security systems for data centres
● Strong understanding of BS6266 and BS5839
● Experience with systems including Lenel, AMAG, Milestone, and Genetec
● Experience using Bluebeam design software
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● BS7858
