Job Title: Fire & Security Contracts Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong technical background in Fire & Security to oversee key accounts, manage a team of engineers, and ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical lead for key clients, building long-term relationships
- Manage a team of 8–10 engineers, including senior engineers and apprentices
- Develop and maintain a sustainable pipeline of work through proactive account management
- Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical upgrade strategies
- Oversee service delivery, ensuring KPIs and service levels are met
- Manage small works and minor installations; support larger projects with Project Managers
- Handle financial reporting, invoicing, progress claims, and monthly reviews
- Ensure team compliance with SHEQ standards, risk assessments, and technical audits
- Support team performance through one-to-ones and appraisals
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in the Fire & Security industry from a technical or engineering background
- Strong knowledge of large-scale, networked commercial applications, including IP-based and integrated systems
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and financial reporting
- Strong leadership and people management experience
