Job Title: Field Engineer (Access Control)
Location: London
Salary: From £30,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you a Field Engineer based in London looking for your next opportunity? As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of biometric access control systems across live construction sites. You will be working for a fast-growing construction technology company delivering innovative digital solutions to the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of biometric access control systems on construction projects across the UK
- Fault finding, servicing, maintenance, and repair of access control systems
- Providing technical support to clients on-site
- Liaising with technical teams for sign-off and commissioning
- Producing accurate job reports following site visits
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures on-site
Experience and Certifications required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Field Engineer role (Fire, Security, Access Control, CCTV or similar)
- Experience with IP and GSM/4G/5G networking
- Electrical knowledge (preferred)
- Experience using diagnostic and networking tools
- ECS Card
- Experience working on construction or industrial sites
- Ability to work from technical drawings and site surveys
