An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital transformation programme as a testing manager on a one year fixed term contract.
We are working in partnership with Microsoft to build of a new customer facing digital platform, implementation of a new website, robotic process automation and all associated technical work streams.
About the role:
We are looking for a Test manager to create testing strategies, plans and to co-ordinate testing activities as part of our digital transformation programme. You will be involved in all testing activities at every stage of development ensuring each iteration of software delivered to us is of high quality, meets requirements and is bug free. You will also be expected to over see User Acceptance Testing.
You will Use your expertise to create sound testing strategies and documentation in Collaboration with the teams developing system integrations, digital platform and mobile application, robotic process automation and the development of a new website for the Council.
You will have at least 5 years' experience working in a previous role in the ICT testing field with Experience creating testing strategies and overseeing testing activities and managing testing project teams of subject matter experts.
You will have experience of working closely with stakeholders and colleagues in regards to any issues detected as part of testing and looking to provide sound options for resolution working alongside vendors and our enterprise archtiect where applicable. Therefore you will be a strong communicator at all levels of technical knowledge.
You will be required to have excellent prioritisation skills, attention to detail and have the ability to produce relevant documentation and standard operating procedures in line with the ITIL framework.
