Technical Resources are currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Role: Test and Validation Engineer for Office Based Role
Location: East Anglia
Start Date: 08/02/2021
Duration: Until End of April as a minimum
Working Hours: 8 hour days
RATE: £28/Hour (Dependent on Experience)

Main Duties include:
-Hardware testing of LV control systems- Software testing
-Fault finding and investigating system issues
-Preparation of agreed project documentation
-Preparation of test equipment, documenting test results, and maintenance of records for later analysis
-To maintain and action agreed punch lists / observation reports to satisfy project requirements
-Day to day interaction with clients representatives during in-house Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at client premises
-To maintain a site report to log activity's and key events during on site works where necessary
-Ensure weekly timesheets and expenses are submitted in a timely manner
-Support of client sites as part of an on-call rota as and when required
-Attendance at client premises for installation, testing and commissioning of project based products
- Day to day clear communication with management, project engineers and other colleagues


Required Skills:
-PC literate with experience of Word, Excel and databases
-Previous knowledge and experience in Testing and Validating general process, safety and control systems using a variety of test equipment
-Some knowledge and experience using Rockwell and Siemens software platforms. Able to fault find and diagnose problems within software and record/rectify to relevant specification
-Ability to travel to clients sites if required
-You are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner compatible with the goals and aims of the company
-Excellent communication skills
-Be able to plan and organise efficiently and effectively
-Have a strong delivery performance
-Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
-Be keen, reliable and committed
-Work as an individual and as part of a team
-The ability to take on responsibility as the business grows
-Team oriented, with a great sense of humour!
