Technical Account Manager - Post-Sales SME
Location: Reading, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £40,000 (£52,000 OTE) + Benefits + Bonus + Health + Dental

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the post-sales process with direct and channel customers. The TAM must be able to articulate the companys technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical and business issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

*Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
*Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
*Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
*Provide functional and technical support to customers
*Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues
*Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
*Responsible for attending conferences, seminars, etc
*Provides technical training to co-workers and be a technical reference/subject expert on one or more of the Qualys apps , as well as on network and security concepts in general
*Provide technical assistance during RFP and trial phases for potential new customers, working with the presales team

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge in security space: Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, Intrusion Detection Systems IDS, Intrusion Prevention Systems IPS, Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance and Audit Tools, other enterprise security solutions.
*Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports
*Must be able to convey technical ideas and concepts very clearly and able to train others
*Must be able to understand network and security infrastructures and elements to advise on how to best use Qualys products in relation to it
*Highly organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
*5 year's relevant experience
*Experience within an enterprise size company is a plus
*Excellent written and oral communication skill
