Technical Account Manager - Channel
Location: Reading, United Kingdom
Salary: Up to £40,000 (£52,000 OTE) + Benefits + Bonus + Health + Dental

Description:
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with all channel partners. The TAM must be able to articulate the company's technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned partners to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the partner sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with all MSSPs, VAS and VAR partners.

Responsibilities:
*Work with partners to Identify and develop potential new business opportunities and delivery
*Convey partner requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
*Support partners in responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
*Respond to partners questions on technical and business related issues
*Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
*Train all partner support and sales staff to an agreed level so that they become self sufficient
*Responsible for supporting partner events and present the company value
*Reporting through Company's CRM

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge of security compliance / monitoring systems and business process management technologies. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports. Organised and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
*Experience in channel/partner market is preferable
*Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
*10 years+ relevant channel experience
*Excellent written and oral communication skills must have a perfect command of English
*Able to travel throughout sales territory
