Location: Stockport
Salary: Up to £200/day (Negotiable)
Duration: Rolling Contract

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Technical Support Engineer\IT Manager to join a quickly expanding IT and AV specialist based near Stockport. This is hands-on position which will require a dynamic and flexible IT professional who will take on any task with enthusiasm and a passion to learn. The current Infrastructure is heavily Windows based although they will be moving at least partly into the google cloud.

*Managing all internal IT infrastructure and telephone systems
*Managing security and IT risk within the business
*Ensuring service levels are maintained
*Managing backup & recovery
*Implementing the new cloud-based strategy
*Installing and managing, external hosting providers, mobile telephony, ISP's, and all other 3rd party provided systems and software e.g. Sage, Symantec, etc.
*Managing the IT Budget
*Develop and implement IT policies in line with ISO27001 and company procedures

Desirable knowledge:
Windows Server 2012 / Active Directory / Group Policy Management / LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi management / NAS Storage and RAID setup / VPN's (Site to site and site to many) / Cloud Backup / Symantec End-point protection / Office 365 / Client - Server Software implementation / G Cloud / G-Suite / Chrome OS / Google Admin
