Security Design Engineer
Location: UK - home based role - Midlands base would be beneficial but not essential
Salary: £40-50k + car/allowance

One of the UKs leading electronic fire & security integrators are currently looking to recruit a Design Engineer who has extensive experience in the design of enterprise level Security systems. The company have a long-standing record delivering some of the most innovative solutions to industries including Construction, CNI, Retail, Banking and Finance both in the UK and globally.

This is a pivotal position within the company for someone who is looking for a long-term challenge within one of the UKs most technology-led electronic security organisations.

Responsibilities include:
To design security systems in line with relevant standards
Understand client requirements thoroughly and create detailed technical system designs
Design complex integrated security systems & network
Provide design leadership for major projects
Take the lead on all enterprise level security design work within a large team of Fire & Security designers

Essential Experience
Experience designing large systems over to £1m
Expert level knowledge of Security Systems - CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms
Must have experience designing Lenel, CCure, S2, Genetec or equivalent enterprise level systems
Strong understanding of IT/Network architecture
Experience using AutoCAD

The role is home based 80% of the time with a required to attend client premises to conduct surveys 20% of the time.
