Regional Stores Controller - Telecommunications
Salary: Up to 23K + Standard Company Benefits (25 days holiday, pension, etc)
*Responsible for the smooth running of the main facilities around Essex.
*Ensuring the facilities are managed in a safe way in line with all current SHEQ legislation.
*Ensuring that the supply chain of materials and machinery is kept up to date and run at the lowest cost for highest quality.
*Ensuring all equipment and kit is checked in and checked out as per the clients process.
*Monthly performance meetings with Regional warehouse managers, suppliers etc.
*Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
*Liaise with the operations director to ensure all stock and machinery requirements are met.
*Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and visions.
*Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone.
*Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
*Brief teams on tool box talks where required.
*Maintain standards of Health & Safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
*Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment making the regional warehouse manager aware of any breakdown of kit, machinery or links in the supply chain.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience with warehouse work, yard work or general telecoms ground work.
