We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to provide technical support, leadership and supervision of Mechanical/HVAC/Legionella services at a prestigious site in London. Working hours are 8am - 5p, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience in a critical services environment - a background in data centres would be ideal. Due to the nature of the site you must be a British Citizen with a background clear of criminal convictions. You will be security cleared to DV level.

To be successful you will need a Sound knowledge of mechanical building services systems, including but not limited to, potable and chilled water systems, HVAC, standby power, pumps and compressors.

Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Whitehall, London
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Company Benefits (including 25 days holiday, pension, on call allowance)

Responsibilities:
*Ensure compliance with L8 Legionella regulations including cooling towers and domestic water systems.
*Develop a cost effective maintenance programme for the site services, plant, systems and equipment.
*Lead the maintenance team to deliver planned maintenance and remedial works
*Ensure continuity of essential site systems and equipment.
*Plan and manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations.
*When capacity allows, or priority dictates, support the Project Manager with installation and commissioning work.
*Promote improvements to the teams Safety, Health and Environment and risk management processes.
*Ensure compliance with service level agreements and key performance indicators delivering a high quality service and customer satisfaction.
*Identify training and development needs, including the creation of a performance system, which assesses the competencies of employees and others.
*Contribute to an effective "change management" programme for key business elements e.g. services offered, products supplied, existing systems and processes etc.

Qualifications Required:
*NVQ level 3 Qualification or equivalent.
*H&S certification such as IOSN, NEBOSH or SSSTS.
*Legionella L8 training / qualifications
