We are looking for an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in Building Services to manage the Facilities Management services for a custodial site based in Wolverhampton. This is a varied management role dealing with compliant, KPI's, SLA,s Health and Safety, Budget Control and other legislative requirements. You must be prepared to work in a custodial / prison environment and undergo stringent security checks (clean criminal background is essential).

You will be working for one of the UK's largest Facilities Management companies and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package. Standard working hours are 8am to 4pm but flexibility is required to suit client needs.

Salary: Up to £42,000 + Company Benefits (33 Days Holiday, expenses covered, corporate pension)

Responsibilities:
*Management of PPM / Reactive engineering and admin teams (up to 20 direct reports at any time)
*Induct, coach, support and motivate employees in order to develop and improve their performance.
*Ensure statutory and contractual compliance of reactive maintenance to maintain a safe and decent environment.
*Manage the accurate recording of data in line with operational procedures and the contractual specification.
*Identify resourcing needs and the on-going selection, vetting, training and development of staff (internal/external).
*Provide guidance to the Directors and their Senior Management Teams on the requirements of Building Maintenance and Engineering Services
*Promote a positive Health & Safety/compliance culture including work undertaken by external agencies.
*Manage the budget/forecast for area of responsibility ensuring that identified financial targets are achieved.
*Manage employees and external agencies in the delivery of capital replacement and construction projects in line with current policies and processes in accordance with the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) 2015 Regulations.
