ICT Business Analyst SAP Consultant - Dutch Speaking
Location: Mechelen, Belgium
Rate: €500/€550 per day
Duration: 6 Months

The ERP program at the customers goal is to standardize and rationalize the financial, HR and purchase warehouse / maintenance processes using the SAP technology. The implementation of the SAP software is in the hands of SAP implementators who are assisted by project teams of the customer. In addition to a project manager, process owners, key users and business analysts, this also includes an ICT team (architects, designers, programmers, testers) that is responsible for the integration of the SAP software with the interface applications at the customer.

*Support for study and layout specifications
*Format Business Analysis (describing TO BE processes and functional requirements) & High Level Design (integrations, data migrations, etc) Support blueprint during implementation phase The business analysts support the SAP implementer in capturing and detailing the business requirements during the workshops
*The business analysts monitor the scope of the specifications (requirements management)
*The business analysts assist the process owners and key users in the substantive translation between the current working method and the SAP processes
*The business analysts support the SAP implementer in solving detected _Gaps_
*The business analysts support the project manager in the preparation and analysis of possible scope changes (change management process) Unsubscribe detailed interface processes
*The business analysts provide user interviews and describe in detail the process descriptions of the interface components. Such descriptions include detailed BPMN swimming diagrams indicating the AS IS applications used
*This gives input to the ICT team to realize the integrations to be built Support data migration
*The business analysts facilitate the business (process owners, key users) in cleaning up the data to be migrated
*The business analysts facilitate the SAP implementer in the data migration Support testing
*The business analysts check the completeness of the scope of test scenarios
*The business analysts give support during the tests to the users Preparing follow-up phases and subsequent specifications
*The business analysts give substantive support to the project manager (s) involved during the drafting and awarding of tenders for these projects.
*They provide input to the ICT team within the framework of the ICT requirements and also process the standards of ICT in the specifications
*They make an inventory and analyze the required integrations
*They actively cooperate in the issuing of the specifications BA acts as a bridge between IT and the business
*Analyzing processes and business rules and establishing a uniform working method
*Identifying functional and non-functional requirements and managing these requirements.

Supporting the other project phases:
*Supports the solution architect in elaborating alternative solutions and drafting the architecture for the selected solution
*Supports the preparation of the plan of action
*Supports the design phase (= blue printing phase)
*Provides support for the transfer of solutions to expert users
*Provides support with the acceptance tests and data migration
*Supports the go-live and aftercare

Technical skills:
*Recognizing business problems and opportunities, collecting business requirements, translating these business needs into ICT requirements and solutions, drafting business cases, working out preliminary studies and carrying out needs analyzes and recommending solutions to ensure the business ICT alignment. Responsible for the analysis of business processes and information flows.
*Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical / engineering or business economics background, or equivalent through experience
*Communication skills and experience with teamwork and project-oriented work.
*Knowledge of business processes in general and of those of the Flemish government in particular (after training period)
*Minimum 4 years experience in general business operations with application in the ICT field.
*Strong communication and analysis.
*Strong abstraction
*Being able to think and work from the business on a strategic level
*By thorough analysis and financial substantiation, can determine the technological solutions for the business challenges facing the customer.
*Language requirement: Dutch speaking at European CEFR level C2.
*Knowledge MS Office Packages
*Knowledge of the different Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
*Thorough Knowledge of Business Engineering can propose business solutions that are a good combination between Business and Technology knowledge
*Customers can advise and assist with strategy, organization and IT issues
*To be able to provide a view of the (technological) developments within their field of expertise to clients, to be able to deal well with an established business target
