Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits
Location: Northampton + Head Office in Longstanton

Overview of Role:
Reporting directly to the Programme Director you will have full accountability for the successful delivery of the P&L and associated revenue over the project term for your allocated project(s) covering all work disciplines and across multiple clients.

You will be responsible for ensuring effective resource planning to meet the deliverables of the project(s) as agreed with the client(s) in addition to recruitment, deployment of resource, training & development and day to day management of your team including performance management and appraisal.
You will proactively identify ways to work 'smarter' maximising both service delivery and retained value over the project term

Key Accountabilities:
*Design, build & implement project plan(s) to successfully deliver client requirements and associated P&L
*Identify key risks and manage effectively, reforecasting project plan(s) where necessary minimising impact to client delivery and projected P&L
*Report progress of project(s) to the Programme Director including the operational delivery against the project(s), safety and financial performance
*Devise & implement clear objectives for your team aligned to project deliverables and monitor progress against these objectives formally review performance with individual members of your team on a regular basis
*Ownership of the client relationship across all clients within your project portfolio, including first point of escalation for all project related issues and attending client meetings as required
*Work collaboratively with other areas of the business to document standard operating procedures in support of quality management systems participating in formal audits as required
*Ensure assigned resources are working efficiently, safely and aligned to the company values
*Apply the performance management processes consistently across the resources you are responsible for ensuring the performance appraisals set clear expectations of performance and are adequately supported with training and development

*Commercially astute, can work with Business complexity and conflicting demands to positively retain value

*Proven people manager with the ability to adapt own style to maximise productivity of others within direct area of responsibility and across the wider organisation
*Competent in the use of systems including MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

*Background in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications or Utilities
