Salary: £22,000 + Overtime
Technical Resources are proud to be partnered with a leading incumbent services provider that specialise in the delivery of specialised engineering projects and infrastructure support to their international clients.
Due to continued growth they have a position for a general facilities maintenance engineer with the ability to carry out multiple roles that are critical to their client and as such are expected to identify and where possible repair any issues found.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify issues and provide the office with a detailed report that will allow the appropriate specialist contractors to be scheduled in to address the issues. The role will be split across three buildings in Central London and will be working a mix of 2 shifts patterns, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30 or 08:30 to 17:30, although this could change should the site facilities require.
As part of the team the duties would include:
*Daily site walk rounds to identify, reporting in a timely manner of any issues found
*Weekly water checks and flushing and recording
*Weekly generator data recording
*Weekly UPS power readings
*Weekly fire alarm testing
*Monthly generator operational tests
*Lighting and monthly emergency lighting checks and basic repairs
*General plumbing repairs
*Visual building checks
*Meet contractors and issue any required paperwork
*Assisting other team members with tasks when required
In addition to the above duties the candidate will be tasked with providing office cover, there will be training offered to the successful applicant. This will be located in the office and will be primarily to oversee emails, customer requests and a task ticketing system to allow tasks to be passed onto the relevant engineer within the team, this role will have the support of senior management at all times. A good understanding of office is required.
They would be encouraged to take on an free thinking independent role within the team, and due to the nature of the sites there is always an opportunity to gain experience with equipment you may not have worked with before.
They are offering a competitive salary of up to £22,000, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. There is also overtime available that is paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and at x2 on Sundays and bank holidays.
