This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Manager in the North West for a leading national Fire & Life Safety provider who install and maintain top of the range Fire detection an protection systems. As a Service Manager you will be responsible for managing the regional service team of around 15 engineers. My client is a successful, independently owned, national fire provider who are going through a period a rapid growth and have recently acquired a number of regional Fire and Security companies.
They are currently looking to consolidate their customer service operations to provide a robust and consistent approach to their customers. The main function of the role is to manage the day to day service delivery and service engineering function.
This role is a varied and expansive role ensuring that the business functions are always commercially minded and customer orientated with a focus on constant identification of shortcomings and implementation of improvements.
Resolution of customer queries & excellent service delivery management
Administration and management within a Fire & Security Service Management role
Direct line management of field service engineers
Costing calls using materials and labour, optimising margin potential
Organising labour resources to meet customer expectations
Consolidating information into coherent reports to inform managers and directors
Experience of a time critical department and service environment
Up to date technical knowledge of Fire Detection systems and the relevant standards
