An excellent opportunity for a Service Manager has arisen in the Midlands for a leading national Fire & Security integrator who install and maintain top of the range Fire, Life Safety & Electronic Security systems. As a Service Manager you will be responsible for managing the regional service team of around 20 engineers plus sub-contractors.

My client is a successful, independently owned, national fire and security company, established for over 20 years. They specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of systems including Fire, CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarms.

They are currently looking to consolidate their customer service operations to provide a robust and consistent approach to their customers. The main function of the role is to manage the day to day engineering contract co-ordination and administration. This include responsibility for ensuring all service and maintenance contracts operate within the clients operation requirements and internal KPIs at all times.

This role is a varied and expansive role ensuring that the business functions are always commercially minded and customer orientated with a focus on constant identification of shortcomings and implementation of improvements.

Essential Experience:

Resolution of customer queries & excellent service delivery management
Administration and management within the Fire & Security sector ideally in a Service Managers role
Management of small works and service engineers within the Fire & Security
Costing Calls using materials and labour, optimising margin potential
Organising labour resources to meet customer expectations
Consolidating information into coherent reports to inform managers and directors
Experience of a time critical department and service environment
