Service Manager - Fire & Security
Salary: Up to 40-44k + Company Car
My Client is a successful, independently owned, national fire & security company, established for over 20 years. They specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of fire & security systems including Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Extinguishers.
They are currently looking to consolidate their customer service operations to provide a robust and consistent approach to their customers. The main function of the role is to manage the day to day engineering contract co-ordination and administration. This include responsibility for ensuring all service and maintenance contracts operate within the clients operation requirements and internal KPIs at all times.
This role is a varied and expansive role ensuring that the business functions are always commercially minded and customer orientated with a focus on constant identification of shortcomings and implementation of improvements.
Front line resolution of customer queries & excellent service delivery management
Administration and management within the Fire & Security sector ideally in a Service Managers role
Costing Calls using materials and labour, optimising margin potential
Organising labour resources to meet customer expectations
Consolidating information into coherent reports to inform managers and directors
Experience of a time critical department and service environment
Organising engineering personally directly and through others
Attending performance meetings with clients
Experience in the electrical engineering industry
Experience working with local government
Strong IT Skills such as Crystal, Sage, MS Project, SQL
