We are recruiting for a Senior Fibre Engineer to work for a rapidly expanding ISP based in Hampshire. The ideal candidate would have a deep knowledge of Fibre Networks including Underground Cabling (UG), Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA), Fibre Splicing, Fault-Finding and OTDR Testing. You will be doing a combination of fault-finding, fault rectification, commissioning and be responsible for the ongoing availability, and in-life integrity of the companies network.

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Company Van + Excellent Company Benefits (28 days holiday, pension, private healthcare, expenses, bonus, etc)
Location: Surrey

Essential Duties:
*Act as the gateway and point of assurance between Fibre Network Design and Fibre Network Build organisations. Ensure that splicing information and schedules meet design and deployment standards
*Perform end to end testing and commissioning of network cabling installed and spliced by 3rd party organisations. Generate cable 'birth certificates' and ensure these are loaded and held with the relevant inventory management systems.
*Perform fusion, and if necessary, mechanical splices to make adds/changes to the optical network
*Respond to and resolve fibre faults up to and including fibre breaks (working with third parties to install new sections if necessary)
*Plan fibre and splicing requirements to meet diversionary work directives
*Work with internal process mapping personnel to help define and document new process requirements as they arise.

Key Experience:
*A minimum of 5 years' fibre deployment, test and maintenance experience preferably in a FTTH/FTTP environment
*Can demonstrate, through examples, experience translating fibre designs to implementation splicing schedules
*Can demonstrate, through examples, experience troubleshooting and resolving complex fibre faults.
*Excellent ability for clear and concise oral and written communication ability to interface at multiple levels and successfully present technical information.
*Ability to work well with other organizations and disciplines including business management, marketing, and sales
*Can demonstrate, through examples, having developed processes and methods of working at a functional level
*Can demonstrate, through examples, an innovative approach to problem solving
