We are recruiting for an industry leading 25+ year old electrical and fire compliance company who work across a variety of sectors including social housing, education and commercial properties. This is a permanent position and a driving licence is required. The role is multi-site based in and around London assisting the electrical reactive team maintain client's electrical systems to ensure they are safe, compliant, functional and fit for purpose.

Electrical Supervisor
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Vehicle and Travel Expenses, PDA, and Company Benefits
Location: North London

Responsibilities:
*Assist the electrical manager deliver electrical testing programme and reactive maintenance works.
*Be a company NICEIC qualifying supervisor. Ensure the team are working to high standards and taking pride in their roles. Help educate the team in regulation updates and best practices.
*Manage and document a regime of physical and technical inspection and audit to confirm that all electrical installations and assets are maintained in a manner that is fully compliant.
*Manage and document a quality control regime to ensure the Electrical team deliver planned, preventative maintenance programmes and response repairs in accordance with the requirements of the contracts.
*Work closely with the Compliance and Technical Team to ensure that the procedures for handing over works from an installation contractor are properly executed.
*Inspect major service failures, intermittent faults and protracted repairs.
*Inspect works in progress to ensure that the contractor is working safely in accordance with health and safety.
*Help maintain a good working culture within the engineering team.
*Support the administration process to ensure that information required to update the asset management is inputted correctly and systematically.
*Provide authoritative technical reports on all aspects of service, including the performance of the contractor and the plant.
*Actively support the expanded application of new technology to improving service delivery.
*Carry out works on site to assist with the completion of contracts if necessary. This includes carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports and associated remedial works and reactive works.

Essential Requirements:
*Have at least 2 consecutive years supervisory or managerial responsibility for the standard of electrical installation work.
*Understand the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and current edition of BS7671.
*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, completed apprenticeship, or similar route to qualifying
*City and Guilds 2391
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Be computer literate for certificating software and Microsoft Office
