We are recruiting for an industry leading 25+ year old electrical and fire compliance company who work across a variety of sectors including social housing, education and commercial properties. This is a permanent position and a driving licence is required. This is predominantly an office based positions managing a team of 15 electricians carrying PPM's, Reactive Maintenance, and Small Work Installations. This role does involve a lot of documentation and paperwork but also requires someone who is able to be on site and stay present and involved in programmes of work.

Electrical Operations Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Vehicle/Car Allowance + Travel Expenses, PDA, and Company Benefits
Location: North London

Responsibilities:
*Manage and deliver the electrical testing programme and reactive maintenance works.
*Be a company NICEIC qualifying supervisor attending site visits and audits as necessary
*Manage and document a quality control regime to ensure the Electrical team deliver planned, preventative maintenance programmes and response repairs in accordance with the requirements of the contracts.
*Work closely with the Compliance and Technical Team to ensure that the procedures for handing over works from an installation contractor are properly executed.
*Inspect major service failures, intermittent faults and protracted repairs.
*Inspect works in progress to ensure that the contractor is working safely in accordance with health and safety.
*Take responsibility of the documentation and administration of work programmes.
*Carry out works on site to assist with the completion of contracts if necessary. This includes carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports and associated remedial works and reactive works.

Essential Requirements:
*Have at least 2 consecutive years supervisory or managerial responsibility.
*Understand the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and current edition of BS7671.
*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, completed apprenticeship, or similar route to qualifying.
*City and Guilds 2391 - Test and Inspect
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Be computer literate for certificating software and Microsoft Office
