Due to the continued growth of Civils / Fibre contracts new opportunities has arisen to join the Telecommunications division of a large Civil Engineering company. The Civils Quality Manager will be part of the senior management teaming with responsibility for overall quality of work as well as driving efficiencies and improving relationships with local councils. You will be responsible for ensuring supervisors are delivering toolbox talks, site audits, quality audits and HSEQ policies are being followed.

This is working on building next generation fibre connectivity across Essex and a good background in Civils work including excavation, duct laying, box building and reinstatement is a must. A NRSWA Supervisor certification is desirable but not essential.

Civils Quality Manager - FTTP
Salary : Up to £50,000.00 + £4000 Car Allowance + fuel card + Annual bonus + Company benefits
Location: Southend-on-Sea

Accountabilities:
*Full responsibility for ensuring quality of FTTP/Civils work (excavation, duct laying, box building, reinstatement)
*Work alongside project and operations management to ensure quality and volume of work is achieved
*Look at internal processes to identify improvements which can be made to assist accurate reporting and improve efficiencies
*Identify key areas and risks to workstreams and proactively reduce the potential of these effecting upcoming work
*Plan and manage upcoming project workstream to ensure all deadlines and regulations are met
*Act as a senior member of the supervisory team dealing with any escalated issues and ensuring other supervisors exceed performance
*Report into senior management identifying key risks/issues and coming up with strategies to improve performance
