My client is a specialist designer and manufacturer or IP Surveillance, CCTV and Access Control products which are installed at high profile customer sites across the UK & EMEA
This position would be based at the our client's headquarters in Southampton, to be part of the technical support team covering customers in EMEA, providing remote, telephone and email based technical support for CCTV equipment and software.
The candidate needs to be flexible and would be part of a small team working in different departments in the building. The main duties would include.
1) Telephone and email technical support for CCTV products, software, hardware and infrastructure
2) System Design and quotation
3) Assisting workshop with product testing
4) Occasional other areas of support
The ideal candidate does not need experience working on CCTV however this would be a bonus. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a technical background in either security, telecoms/data engineering or IT support with strong customer service skills, good communication skills and a basic level IP networking knowledge
