Salary: Up to £100,000 + Commission Structured (negotiable) + Company Car/Allowance + Company Benefits (£20,000 OTE / Pension / 25 Days holiday)
Location: Surrey (UK and Ireland travel required)
We are recruiting for a distributor of industrial computing and communications products selling into vertical markets such as renewable power, utilities, intelligent transportation systems, marine / offshore and factory automation. This client represent a number of manufacturers such as Advantech, B+B SmartWorx, InHand Networks, Moxa, Multi-Tech Systems, NetComm Wireless and NetModule - ideally I would find someone with specific knowledge and / or experience of these brands, or perhaps some of their competitors (Sierra Wireless, Cradlepoint, Robustel etc).
We would also consider people who had worked in a mobile virtual network operator or who had experience with Microsoft / Amazon cloud platforms in an appropriate capacity.
*The role would be business development
*Understanding the needs and challenges that such applications bring.
*Meeting existing and new clients to showcase technical engineering products
*Inputting to marketing to help grow and generate new leads
*Setting up a new sales desk to grow the business
*Co-ordinate all of the moving parts so the client can consult provide complete solutions
*Have an understanding of the ecosystem (i.e. all of the players that can provide the various aspects of such products hardware, software developers, cloud services, air time provision etc)
*Project Management experience
*Experience of Technical Sales
*Previous experience and knowledge of hardware brands
*Open-mindedness and willing to coordinate
*Dedication to growing the business
