Your Future: Fed up of working for a large business with no agility to react to the market? Sick of having to go through countless processes to close a deal or quote a solution? Tired of closing business which get's let down by an over-stretched service team? Let's face it - this is what it can be like to work for a large corporate who are about as agile as a cargo ship. As Business Development Manager for this expanding owner run business this will not be the case. You will be joining a company as part of their expansion plan to gain more market share after a couple of solid profitable years. You will be initially tasked with developing new revenue through M&E channels and, when your account base grows the business will look to expand again.
The Role: As Business Development Manager you will cultivate relationships with e M&E and installer market helping your new partners win bids and specify your equipment. The products range includes Fire Suppression and Alarm systems, Nurse Call systems, Access Control and CCTV systems. Covering the majority of the UK, and working from home or the office (it's your choice) you will seek out new projects and manage your ongoing relationships for future business.

They treat their employees like adults with no micro-management or 10 update calls per day!
The requirements for the Business Development Manager role:
- Experience within the Fire/CCTV/Access Control/Nurse call industry
- Experience cultivating ongoing relationships with the M&E and installer sector
- Mature approach with the ability to lay down solid initial processes and reporting systems to keep directors up to date with activity and pipeline
- Energetic and structured approach to selling
The Package for the Business Development Manager role:
- £40k base (could be some flex)
- £60-70k yr 1 OTE
- Car or allowance (£500/month)
The Business Development Manager role is based from home,or the office, or a mix of both.
