Skill set Requirements:
*Must have hands-on experience of AWS Operations and AWS Architect Experience
*Must have minimum 5+ years working experience with AWS to serve live, customer-facing AWS Infrastructure
*Excellent written and verbal communication, and a collaborative approach. This is a team-player role and not individual role.
*Knowledge of Linux containers and/or serverless application models is added plus
*Experience with operations - incident triage, response, and analysis
Primary skill set:
*Cloud Providers: Amazon Web Services , Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation,PowerShell
*Must have: Hands-on skills with Elasticsearch Lambda, Vagrant, EC2 Autoscaling, Jenkins, Git, Puppet/Chef, EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Cloudfront, API Gateway, ELB, Elastic Beanstalk,
*Automation and Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
*Knowledge on Containers: Docker
*Operating Systems: Windows and Linux
*Proactively and consistently do the Capacity review of AWS Resources based on Performance Metrics and advise customers on Rightsizing and drive it.
*Proactively and consistently review the AWS Trusted advisor recommendation and drive with operations and security team for closure.
*Identify Cost optimization opportunities in Cloud estate & work with BAU Operations teams and come up with Solutions.
*Work with Customer Solution architect team, Infosys Transition Teams and work on all Low level design & documentation for BAU operations teams to implement it.
*Work with Infra operations team to maintain infrastructure-as-code on AWS (we use CFT and Puppet.).
*Provide Technical Solutions on Configure, secure, and optimize deployments of EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, S3, Cloudfront, API Gateway, ELB, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk and more.
*Collaborate with multiple teams including development teams, operations teams ,Service delivery and Change management team
*Collaborate with BAU Operations and Security team to ensure AWS Environment meet the Industry best practices and document the risk if they do not meet the standard. Provide the mitigation plans.
*Help BAU operations teams to identify the AWS Operational risks due to limitations in the environment and help team to highlight to Customer.
*Evaluate the impact of new AWS solutions and proactively advise Infosys management on impact of newly introduced/upcoming AWS services being introduced.
*Drive monthly Vendor calls with AWS on Services.
*Work with UCAS environment management team to drive the Cloud Service Improvements.
