Function: Individual role to design and manage automation solutions, contribute to automation strategy, Identification of automation possibilities and right method of automation for each scenario, plan and drive developments, operationalization, interact with internal and external stake holders and support. Handle virtual team and collaborate with multiple functions.
This role will get engaged in and responsible for design and manage automation solutions, contribute to automation strategy, Identification of automation possibilities and right method of automation for each scenario, plan and drive developments, operationalization, interact with internal and external stake holders and support. Manage virtual team and collaborate with multiple functions.
*The role holder will identify opportunities and risks and be responsible for generating solutions and recommending courses of actions to drive the business forward.
*He / She will do project management of the automation development.
*He / She will do data analytics to identify opportunities for automation and responsible to realize savings.
*He / she will be able to work on complex automations and manage stakeholders' requests and expectations throughout the process, building strong relationships across SL OPT and beyond SL OPT to deliver results
*He/she will manage stakeholders requests with the view of finding avenues of improvement that automation can provide, in terms of efficiencies, quality of insights for the business and savings in terms of FTEs.
*He/she will have to work with domain experts to create implementable solution design and ensure that the same is available as user stories. He will also have to involve in the requirement elaborations and discussions involving the domain team and the development teams.
*He/she will be responsible for the development and delivery of automations of reports, dashboards and metrics calculations for pan-SL OPT organization, for the provision of accurate reporting across all work types whilst ensuring data integrity checks.
*He/she will be required to engage with Market areas to present/demonstrate automation capabilities and POCs as per the business needs.
*To deliver automation based on a detailed understanding of delivery requirements, existing capabilities and business benefits
*To collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and then deliver effective automation
*To demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills to manage all requests from across SL OPT
*To identify opportunities to enhance the process by proactively seeking out automation scopes and solutions
*To Work with service delivery process owners and SMEs to scope automations & define business value
*To facilitate service delivery process mapping driving towards process automation.
*To drive on-time execution of development plan as per the release plan
*To take responsibility for the prioritization and delivery of work in line with the requirements of the stakeholders and the pipeline of requests
*To be the key engineer to design and implement the automation design
*To identify the right spots to introduce more automation tools and solutions to help internal teams, partners and customers.
*To provide support and training on how to use the new automation to free up time for the requestor and improve efficiencies
*To drive and track operationalization of the developed automations in the deliveries.
*To present data that is error free from a data integrity perspective, questioning base data provided by other sources wherever possible
*Contribute directly, through day to day action, to the formal business reporting and therefore, indirectly to strategic decision-making
*Qualifications: BE/ BTech EC/ET/ CS
*Industry experience: Relevant experience in the field of process automation as Business Analysist, Automation Lead or Solution architect. Background in telecom service delivery will be an advantage.
*Competence in programming languages like Java / Python etc.,
*Good knowledge on areas like ML, AI, Cloud, BIG DATA, API, System Integration.
*Good understanding on Telecom Service delivery.
*Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
*Ability of managing & driving the team.
*Excellent presentation skills.
*Expertise in software project management.
*Expertise in Data Modelling and Management.
*Excellent level of numeracy, analytics and data interpretation skills.
*Excellent communications, team-building skills, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
*Excellent ability to influence decision makers and operational teams.
*Years of experience: 7+ Years
*Must be a team player with quality orientation, integrity, openness and learning agility. Must have excellent consulting and coaching skills for knowledge share.
*A self-learner who is abreast with latest in the industry and the area of process automation
*Knowledge in Tableau, PowerBI or other data analysis tools, Python or Perl , will be of advantage.
